(2012-07-15)Kingsun presents on Rio+20, United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development
Rio+20, United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on June 20-22, 2012, where world leaders, along with thousands of participants from governments, the private sector, NGOs and other groups, came together to shape how human can reduce poverty, advance social equity and ensure environmental protection on an ever more crowded planet to get to the future we want.
Kingsun, as a representative industry in LED industry from China, took part in the summit forum Green and Growth¬–China in Action, which is also an important part of Rio+20. It’s known that Kingsun was the only one Chinese lighting application manufacturer invited in LED industry and honored with Green-eco Development Model Enterprise Prize by United Nations environment Programme and Latin-America branch of Xinhua News.
During the forum, Kingsun had a wide communication with representatives from Brazilian government and industries on green production and new technical developments. Meanwhile, Kingsun also had a discussion with local energy-saving enterprises on operation mode and development strategy.
Moreover, Kingsun attended the photo gallery of China environment protection achievement, presenting the outstanding achievements Kingsun already had in LED lighting application field. Conference Secretary-General Sha Zukang and Deputy Secretary of UN Achim Steiner visited the gallery and gave a high comment on Kingsun.
